today was a nicenice day :)firstly, FLAG DAY! hahhaha fun! well much better than the previous experience. the people in heartlands are so much nicer than those in orchard road! some people, you don't even need to ask them, they'll just stop for you :D hahaha i love those people.
anyway, we were seriously going on like a tape recorder. we walked round and round the clementi shopping place. wasn't really that successful. so because of my brilliant plan, we headed to the nearby bus stop. and it started to get fun! and it was really good because we have people coming from the buses, from the shopping place and from the HDB flats. yup, and most of the time people stopped to donate money. then there was this funny auntie that started advising us on how to get more people to donate.
auntie: ahh, ni men yao gan gan shang qu wen ren jia de! (x8913781927309 times)
us: errr.. orh.
hahhahaa hey we already hen gan gan shang qu wen le okay :) but then it was then we got really high. thinking of ways to get people to donate. like jumping in front of them, getting up the bus and asking the uncle not to drive off and then shout at the people making them donate, running in front of people and waving your hands in the air screaming "STOP! ..... would you like to donate?" with a real big smile. yeah and manymany more heheheheee.
so there was real nice people. some people, even though they donated, still donated. and then there was this another funny uncle that said "oh Methodist Girls' School ah? (smilesmilesmile) my granddaughter's school! (smilesmilesmile)" and then there was another lady that went "i know Girls' Brigade!" and then there was some people who actually refused to donate, then later changed their minds and actually walked back to donate. that takes a lot of courage you know. there was another kind kind soul that asked if $1 was enough! hahaa and then there was glorious times when 3people came up to donate - all at the same time! so tiffany was having a glorious time peeling stickers and lipin was having a glorious time feeling the weight in the bag. haha :D
oh and there was another guy that said "can i have more than 1 sticker?" hahah sureeee. people are interesting, they all have interesting reactions. heh, 3hours passed too fast. hm, i wanna do flag day again! shall watch out for church advertisements. so fun :) then can clear my 6hours faster! whoohoo, can't wait. this time, we'll go toapayoh!
then we went pasa malam (sp?) shopping at yew tee! ahhahaa i never knew there was such a place until we signed up for flag day. yup we had to report there. so after returning the bags, we went shopping for food & STICKERS! ahhh the winnie the pooh stickers are awesomely cute :D the guy must have thought that mg girls are mad, buy stickers that only small kids buy. hahahaha, this is called, not losing your childhood innocence! :D anyway, thanks charis for the stickers! now i can finally decorate my fileee. darn, shouldn't have given NLP the idea of using the stickers to decorate file. then i'll be ultra unique heh!
went to novena sq 2! took an mrt down and i nearly missed my stop - talking to charis too much :D yup, didn't eat ramen :( my sister didn't want to eat there. instead we ate soya sauce chicken noodles and then we went to NTUC. after that, i had nicenice ginseng drink! hahah i like ginseng! and the auntie was very funny. she was warning me that there was no sugar. like, obviouslyyy! hahahhaa. saw the korean shop. i thought it was a cosmetic shop at first! didn't eat yami yoghurt :( but nvm, we're going suntec tml, can eat yayyyy :D visited TS, mummy bought just follow law. then to trumpet praise, bought CDs and books. I GOT FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE CD! :D i know its a really old one but i don't have it. so whoots. went down to hallmark where my mum spent a min of 20minutes - as usual. i realize we always spend a lotttt there. tsk. GSS is really dangerous i realize. everyone just wastes money. hahaha. my dad is going to kill all of us when he comes back from US. hahaha, then i decided to get the Bible for NLP and clarissa! :) but only got one copy, so yeah. and i just fell in love with it! its really nice :D though no pictures. translation is good. yay.
then to poh kim! my mummy bought ANOTHER vcd. i think she's so pro. today spend so much money sigh. but anywayyy, another show to watch! i have like, eternal happiness, armed reaction 2,3,4, burning flame 2, man's best friend, i-don't-know-what-else to watch. haha. oh well.
so yeah, tiffany's a happy girl now (: and i'm going to watch shrek 3 soon AND potc of course :) i should start trying to finish my homework from tml :D
